Centre For Recent Drawing 2007

The Centre for Recent Drawing is pleased to present a solo show of new drawings by London based artist Rachel Cattle.  The exhibition 'True Love' leads on from the series '100 Drawings', and takes the title from the words carved into a tree featured in one of the works.

In this series she presents a group of incidents, anecdotes, and recollections that possess their own eccentric logic.  Drawing on a diverse range of influences Cattle delves into memory, popular culture, and art history to reference imagery that represents fears and anxieties.
